About the Event
This is a one-time 3-hour class teaching Sewing Machine Basics for parents! Our goal is to help you learn the basics so you can better help your children at home. Priority will be given to parents of students in one of our Sewing/Fashion programs, however if space is available in the class, seats will be open to others as well
Course material will include threading the needle, winding a bobbin, introductory stitch practice, backstitching, thread tension, stitch width & length, etc. Students will also complete a project to take home.

Classes are currently held in a Summerlin home near The Trails Community Center (the community center is at 1910 Spring Gate Ln). The exact address of the home will be provided upon registration.
