Time & Location
About the Event
Day: Saturday, August 29, 2020
Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Location: North Summerlin Residence
This is a one-time, 3-hour class teaching Sewing Machine Basics for new students preparing to begin a Sewing 101 or Fashion Design course.
Course material will include threading the needle, winding a bobbin, introductory stitch practice, backstitching, thread tension, stitch width & length, etc. Students will also complete a project to take home.
This class is now a prerequisite for all new students wishing to begin Sewing or Fashion Design classes. Because of this, enrollment priority is given to those students who plan to continue on to the following month's classes.
Students who have already taken a Sewing/Fashion class with YADCA do NOT need to take this class prior to enrollment. However, if there has been a lapse in enrollment, this will be discussed on a case-by-case basis to determine if any refresher basics instruction is necessary.
Classes will be held in a residential home in North Summerlin off of Lake Mead + Hillpointe. Exact address will be provided upon registration.
