About the Event
This is a one-time 3-hour class teaching Sewing Machine Basics for new students preparing to begin a Workhop Series, Sewing 101 or Fashion Design course.
Course material will include threading the needle, winding a bobbin, introductory stitch practice, backstitching, thread tension, stitch width & length, etc. Students will also complete a project to take home.
This class is now a prerequisite for all new students wishing to begin Sewing + Fashion workshops and classes. Because of this, enrollment priority will be given to those signing up for our Fall session of Sewing 101.
Students who have already taken a Sewing/Fashion class with YADCA do NOT need to take this class prior to enrollment.

Classes are currently held in a Summerlin home near The Trails Community Center (the community center is at 1910 Spring Gate Ln). The exact address of the home will be provided upon registration.
